Bruce Cacho-Negrete, CFP® SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT Financial Advisor

A member of the Starner Group since 2007, Bruce is responsible for financial planning and solutions development. As a new client, you'll work with Bruce extensively, as his team creates a customized financial plan focused on meeting your lifetime goals and objectives. In the years that follow, you'll work with Bruce to assess your progress towards these goals, as well as to address new challenges and goals as they arise.

Bruce is widely recognized for his deep insurance expertise and has been quoted in numerous publications, including Money Magazine, CNN Money, and Investment News. Also, he is one of 20 financial advisors nationwide to serve on the Insured Retirement Institute’s (IRI) Advisor Advisory Council, an invitation-only council that provides input to the financial services industry on initiatives that impact financial advisors and their clients.

Bruce completed his bachelor's degree in English at the University of Chicago and his ABMC from Northwestern' University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Throughout his 13 years as a business consultant, Bruce developed goal-oriented business strategies for numerous Fortune 500 companies across a variety of industries. Prior to joining Raymond James, he was a principal at The Sitaro Group, a marketing strategy consulting firm, and a senior manager for Accenture, a global management consulting firm.

Bruce is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional. He is also Series 7, 66, and insurance licensed and holds a level 1 Insurance Certification from the Insurance Institute of America. Bruce is a member of the Financial Planning Association and serves on the board of multiple nonprofits, including the Whiting Woods Property Association and VS. Theatre Company in Los Angeles. In his free time, Bruce enjoys sports, roller coasters, and spending time with his wife, Lise, and children, Cole and Micaela.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner,  CFP Logo Flame Design and  CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
