Bruce Bio Headshot
Bruce Cacho-Negrete, CFP® Private Wealth Advisor Senior Vice President, Financial Planning

With an analytical mind and a background in management consulting, I lead financial planning and strategies development for The Starner Group of Raymond James. Since 2007, I’ve been a part of a team that takes an all-encompassing approach to wealth management, collaborating with clients’ attorneys, accountants and other advisors to get a big-picture perspective.

Thanks to my lifelong love of learning, I’m a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and hold a level 1 insurance certification from the Insurance Institute of America. My in-depth insurance expertise has led to numerous opportunities to engage with the news media. I’m also one of 20 financial advisors nationwide to serve on the Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) Advisor Advisory Council, an invitation-only council that provides input to the financial services industry on initiatives that impact financial advisors and their clients. I completed my bachelor’s degree in English at the University of Chicago and studied management consulting at Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

I’m a big believer in spending quality time with family and I’m the proud father of two children who have inherited my passion for roller coasters.
