Our Process
-
Our first meeting is simply an opportunity for us to get to know each other. It’s a time for you to ask questions about us and to give us your thoughts on what you’d like to achieve. In turn, we’ll share our financial planning philosophy with you and introduce you to the next phases of our process.
-
We’ll ask you to share more detailed financial information. Our Plan Preparation Databook will help you provide what we need to begin developing your custom plan. Our team will use your confidential data to create an easy-to-read financial summary that will offer more insight into your current situation.
-
We’ll discuss your needs in greater detail and present your Engagement Meeting Binder, which will form the framework for your financial plan and include an overview of our recommendations, information on our fees, and legal and regulatory disclosures. If we decide to proceed together, we’ll formalize our relationship with a contract.
-
We will work together to build out your financial plan. This likely takes several meetings as we will make adjustments based on your feedback. The custom plan will be specific to you and it will guide our decisions from this point forward. Your input and overall comfort with the plan are of utmost importance.
-
After we have fully presented your financial plan and you are comfortable with it, we’ll put it into action. We’ll work with your other professional advisors when appropriate, such as your accountant and attorney, to implement the various aspects of your plan.
-
Financial planning is not a one-time event but an ongoing advisory process that reflects the evolution of your goals, family, financial affairs, and life. We'll not only follow your investments but also monitor all aspects of your plan to ensure that it evolves with you over the years, taking into account any changes in your circumstances and goals. At our firm, we believe that providing advisory support is essential to pursuing long-term financial success.
